Mirwais - give it a rest Maddie Anyone else sick of his sound? I was sick of it after music, and now unfortuneatly her new album is drenched in it as well

No, not sick of it at all. I can't stop listening to the new album.
I've gone back and listened to Music and it definitely has a different sound and feel than the new one. The new one seems to be a refinement and distilling of their partnership and showcases what they can come up with much better. Plus, it's much more concentrated than Music which was all over the map.

It was good enough for me to buy it (which is more than I can say for Music), and it does get better the more you listen to it. I still feel it is one of her lesser efforts, it's in the bottom half of her releases based on quality.

I think I'd have a little more respect for it if not for the Cher-Do-You-Believe-In-Love computer effect on her voice. I loved Ray of Light & Music and now it is played out. IMO 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I've yet to hear the new album but I'm not a big fan anyway.
That said, I have a lot of respect for Madonna and always keep an eye on what she's doing and as one of my housemates is a big fan it'll only be a matter of time before the album gets played at top volume and i'll have no choice but to hear it.
