You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Another childish thread, comparing Prince to a viral trap rapper whose talent is the size of a flea and is mainly consisted around saying the word fuck, mumbling going about drugs and hoes and the trap house.

i never said that he has to do it over the long haul like Jayz and Eminem for that but to call him trash and his mom may be on this forum is so disrespectful and prince wouldnt want that either

I am not wasting my time to compare one of THE greatest musicians that ever lived to some flash in the pan, viral trap rapper that is trendy right now. I mean these rappers don't even sing, they speak and not even intelligibly. There is no musical construction, no instruments - just grunting and swearing to some looped in ass beat by some so called Producer and maybe a video ho or two going "uh huh", or "yeah baby yeah" at most.

.

In 2030, we will all still be celebrating Prince, no one will remember or care who NBA Youngboy or whatever his name is. Besides Prince threw down on Days of Wild, love to see this mumbling trap rapper top that.

he's not the greatest rapper alive, never has been never will be... he has no soul or timing in his flow or cadence, which is the core and essence of great mc'ing...he just spits a bunch of multi-syllabic rhymes for the sake of rhyming...almost cartoonish at times...

only white people who casually follow hiphop, proclaim Eminem as the greatest rapper of all time, and i understand their loyalty and affinity to their own...but no real student of hiphop black, brown (or other) would make that claim based on artistic merits...

Funkman88, how old are you? The 88 suggests you are 32/33 - but your posting style and content suggests 12 - 16.

.

This thread is nonsense and I am amazed it is still going.
