Yikes! That $150 price tag on amazon is awfully steep for the first volume. If they are releasing multiple volumes, I hope they make the price more affordable for the average music consumer. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

It’s a little cheaper ($124) on the PopMarket site, which is where I pre-ordered it from also,it’s cheaper at Importcds too. |

I’ve noticed that, lately,Amazon charges an arm and a leg for big box sets.I cancelled my Amazon ‘Sign O’ The Times’ SDE preorder when I found that it was cheaper at a few other places. [Edited 3/23/21 12:39pm]

but anyway....I’m ecstatic at the thought of getting 15 (!) of these box sets!! and since these are in limited quantities (2500 copies),each set will be a real collectors’ item, for sure. Expect to see these sets on EBay and discogs for outrageous prices. |

I sold my Philadelphia 40th Anniversary box set a few years ago. Now I'm sorry I did because now it sells for triple the price I paid. Unless these new box sets are heavy on bonus tracks, I won't buy most of them because of the price tag since I already own the titles I'm interested in on CD.
I'm very discriminate on what I buy on CD these days since I own over 3000 of them. I'm in the process of moving. Packing and moving a huge CD collection is no joke. I can imagine what a pain it would be to move a vinyl collection. Actually I did once back in the 90s and I swore I'd never do that again! "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! Lol...it never ends!! |

the O’Jays 1978 album ‘So Full Of Love’ is an absolute masterpiece.Every song on that album could have been a single.Looking forward to a fresh remaster of that great album. |

Pardon me for inserting myself here, but I have caught your enthusiasm for this music and am enthralled that some folks can have 3000 CDs! Wow. I can't really visualize it.
Sorry for interrupting. I'll see my way out. |
