R.I.P. James Purify

Even though he had only one hit, "I'm Your Puppet", singer James Purify has passed. "I'm Your Puppet" was a Top Ten R&B hit (and a Top Five Pop Hit) with his cousin "Bobby" Purify under the name James & Bobby Purify in 1966. The song also was a Top 20 hit in the UK.

SoulAlive	I was fortunate to see him perform at one of our “Super Oldies Love Jam” concerts many years ago.”I’m Your Puppet” is an absolute classic.Another popular song by him is “You Can’t Keep A Good Man Down”. Rest In Peace.
