A lot of pivotal stuff was left out, though, like most of these biopics. I still watch though.

Both girls were exec. prod. on the movie, and the dang thing was 3 hours or more. They had opportunity to put in what they thought was pivotal or at least important as part of their timeline. Sure, there are interesting parts to anyone's story we feel are worthy of airtime, but the girls told their story. I can run with it.

I finished the movie last night. It was good. I didn't know a lot of their pre-Push It history, so I was surprised to see Martin Lawrence, Kid, and Play at Sears with them. hahahaha That was a scream.

The gal playing Pepa should be tapped to play Tamar in the Braxton family movie.

Relax...

You're not that important to get me riled up. I've got zero investment in you.

Yet you were still replying to his comments 🤣. People actually ignore the person if they aren't important to them. No responses.

Well it was a Lifetime movie. Bad wigs, bad men. Besties for life. It was ok for what they wanted to tell

Some of those wigs should've been CHECKED before going on camera! hahaha

Here's a recent interview by Kid. He talks a little about Salt, Pepa, & Spinderella at the beginning. The interview is close to 2 hours long

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Don't get me wrong it was good but it was very PG, maybe PG13. I think most people have an impression of those in the industry that this didn't touch. It stayed pretty basic which really was fine for me. I don't need to be all in their dirty laundry but it is in the back of the mind.
