R.I.P. Tim Bogert, legendary rock bass guitarist

Rock bass guitarist Tim Bogert of Vanilla Fudge, Cactus and Beck Bogert Appice fame has passed.

With the Vanilla Fudge they had a hit of their cover of The Supremes' "You Keep Me Hanging On".

Cactus was a hard rock quartet in the early Seventies, and then he and his drummer friend Carmine Appice, whom both comprised the rhythm section of The Fudge and Cactus joined with Jeff Beck for the power trio Beck, Bogert & Appice They did one studio album that was certified RIAA gold.
