"Ventriliquism" by Meshell Ndegeocello has been my go-to vinyl the last couple of weeks. All of a sudden I haven't been able to get tired of it.

Recently got it at my Thrift store. Atco /Atlantic 1969. B- condition. Sounds good and clean. 🎼👍🎸Neil was in alot of bands. 😯 Retrospective Best of Buffalo Springfield. 20210112-212128

Wasn't Stephen Stills in Buffalo Springfield as well? Early folk-rock.

Just got this new album on vinyl today... I already have it on CD. It's terrific. cool

Where'd you get it Thrift shop? I recently found 2Cd of some boxset of there's at least I think so. I'll give it a listen and post it soon.

This is a new album that just came out last year; it's the band's second album.They are descendants of members of the Allman Brothers Band.

I'll pick it up eventually.
====
Allman Bros Band - Dreams. Mercury Records. Dreams is a 1989 four-disc box set issued by the Allman Brothers Band. Recorded 1966-1988. Dreams is a compilation of material taken from not only the Allman Brothers Band, but also from throughout musical careers of the Allmans and the band's other members prior to and following its formation. I luckily found disc 2 & 3 at my Thrift store. Hopefully I can find the other two later on. Of course great vocals and bluesy instrumentation.

Judy London - Julie is her name Vol. 1(Her first album released on 12/1955) & Vol. 2(8/1958). Liberty/EMI/Capitol/Columbia Records. Released on CD(25 songs) in 1992. I knew her name, but never heard her music and don't know much about her. I guess you would call her the Diana Krall('S wonderful is done here by London in a faster tempo quite nicely) of her time after listening to her. Her biggest hit Cry me a river is included here. Beautifully mastered and arranged. London and her mom were fans of Billie Holiday. Lucky Thrift find this week. Hopeful to find more of her catalog in Vinyl or CD. Highly recommend if you like Krall who I imagine was a London fan.

I bought 2 more vinyl sets of SOTT including the.

.

180gsm Peach vinyl set of 2

180gsm Picture disc vinyl (Blue and Peach records with SOTT logo and the Peace sign).

.

Not playing anything at moment as saving for a quality system and my cheapie player needs a new belt as it plays things to slow. Plus I am not playing expensive vinyls on a cheep player that has a 5 cent piece anchoring the tone arm lol

I got plenty good loving for ya baby

Hearts Don't Lie - Latoya Jackson. Released on Private records in 1984. I remember hearing Hearts Don't Lie on the radio and I think was her only hit. Produced by Howard Hewett, Tito Jackson and Amir Bayyan. Musicians: Stanley Clarke, George Duke, Ronald Bell and Marlon Jackson. Janet Jackson and Howard Hewett background vocals. Recorded in NY/LA. A Joe Jackson production. Thrifty find. A- condition. Great musicians make this production better. Prince wrote the song Private Joy. 😮
