What was your first album you ever had? For me is Aretha Franklin Lady Soul record thanks to my dad who bought it for me. If no one hasn't heard of it before. Please check it out. The greatest soul album ever in my opinion. So fucking amazing from start to finish. | |

Let's see now.... I can't remember if it was a Halloween or Easter one. The Halloween one was a Disney album with a lady narrator with haunted house sounds, cats fighting, dogs barking, birds attacking, etc. The Easter one, probably Disney too, I can't remember, had songs like "Here come Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail. Hippity hoppity, Easter's on it's way". . My first REAL album though was the "Grease" soundtrack. Andy is a four letter word. | |

My sister and I used to be really into those old K-Tel compilation albums. Then i heard Flashlight and all that changed. I could not believe music could actually sound like this. That was it. I followed my mom about the K-Mart for about an hour begging her to buy me "Funkentelechy Vs The Placebo Syndrome". I was in the seventh grade. I consider that my first real album. The first I bought with my own $$ was Bootsy?Player of the Year a couple months later. | |

i was in Walmart with my mom probably a year after Michael Jackson died. i was shown his music for the first time after he died and ended up becoming a huge fan. so, when i saw he had some CD’s at Walmart, obviously i begged my mom to buy me one. so, to answer the question, Dangerous by Michael Jackson. holds a special place in my heart still. | |
