Will Beyoncé be a big winner at the Grammys?

She has 9 nominations. Thoughts?

If she wins 8 of them, then she will have more than anyone else in history

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

^Same.

Good for her if she does. Whatever happens though, I won't be watching.

She was on the remix for savage, released black parade on the deluxe edition of lion king the gift, and put out a music film based on that, black is king

True but back in the day it was like the big concert of the year.

It's still a big, flashy show but last year the emperor really did prance around with no clothes on.

The NARAS didn't nomimate The Weeknd who had one of the biggest albums of the year out of sheer spite yet have once again considered Justin Bieber and his weak, fast food music to be worthy of consideration.

Not the first time they've made a stupid decision but this is the latest in the most blatant of examples.

I’m not very fond of his new album though I like some of the songs, but feel he should have been nominated

I'm not a Weeknd fan at all. Didn't even listen to his new album ("Blinding Lights" is cool in its 80sness though) but it makes no sense why one of the biggest names in music with one of the biggest, most successful albums of the year got snubbed.

Word is because Abel is doing the Halftime Show at the Superbowl, he declined to perform at the Grammys since that would apparently be an great inconvenience for him. The NARAS didn't take kindly to that so they didn't vote him into any category but they saw fit to put Bieber in all his flavorlessness up for a few trophies.

The ceremony has been postponed till March due to COVID numbers skyrocketing, not sure it's going to be much better in March you definitely can't have audiences

Beyonce could make an album of her coughing for an hour and the Grammy folks would give her several Grammys for it lol it's a damn shame that she has more Grammys than Prince.I don't take them seriously anymore.

Oh. Perhaps it'll be interesting. Though I'm not feeling that body song. I mean it's got a good beat and you can dance to it. smile Still it's one of those repetitive songs I've never liked.

I am shocked he hasn’t been able to garner her a Best Country Album nomination.

It is amazing to me how there are a number of mediocre musicians with numerous Grammys.

Prince only had 7?? That's says it right there.

Yawn.

All right, 5 days ago is pretty recent.

The kerfuffle over The Weeknd happened back when the noms were announced in December.
