Róisín Murphy - ''Róisín Machine''

-

Not sure if this passed here already, but...

did anyone of you check the new Róisín Murphy album ?

-

''Róisín Machine''

-

What.

A.

Stunning.

Album.

That.

Is !

A huge tribute to the better intelli-disco, groovin' your brain like Donna's ''I Feel Love'',

whooshing with big curly hair, heavy make-up and in full mirrorball realness,

on the right speed trippin' like no other drug can do,

with unmistakable grooves that can't keep your ass still, period!

-

I'm a big fan!!

This is my favorite album of 2020.

So many great songs! Favorites are “We Got Together,” “Simulation,” and “Jealouslyyyyy.”

I have it on repeat ever since too.

She's crazy good.

Best coming from the Brits in a long long time tbh.

Uncomparable with Kylie's now album.

Although the comparison is ungrounded tbh.

wink

-

Something completely different;

I'm in the process of liking the new Taylor Swift 'Evermore'...

Love the duet with Matt Berninger of The National.

-

Did love the other duet with Bon Iver singer Justin Vernon too.

Is there something wrong with me now?

wink

As an Irish girl myself, it's a damn insult to be thrown into the same category as that shower across the water. A fucking disgrace, is what it is. My great grandfather didn't die for our freedom only for us to be called Brits a hundred years later. Shame. Shame. SHAME!!!

Now, consider yourself bashed. lol

biggrin

I solemnly swear and sweat by the graves of my relatives,

that I never again will fail thee, nor all the proud Irish with firmness shall respect.

I bow to thow, Grace, your humble servant, yet with utmost dignity.

-

I think that'll do.

smile))))))
