Yessiree, PF are a great band. And their latest album is surprisingly good. They don't try to reinvent the wheel. They pretty much keep that PF sound(like you alluded to), and that's a good thing. Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon. | |

Made of Rain is SO good!
THe production is so dense and layered; makes it heaphone candy. Would love to hear live versions of these tunes. THey should do a live stream. This is what you want...This is what you get. |

According to the liner notes, he co-produced it, co-wrote a couple of songs, and played additional instruments. But not officially in the line-up? Probably only because of nostalgic purposes. We're here, might as well get into it. | |

I just listened to the first single "No one" Does sound like their old stuff but with a more modern sheen. The updating reminds me of the Killers or even some Brit Pop. A good song, It feels like an album opener more than a single. Not as distinctive (to me) as "Love my way" but atmosphere with lots of nice guitar soundscapes against a catchy guitar riff.
