chile i fell asleep the first time i listened to that album. listened to it a few more times but totally overrated. took it back to the store i was so upset with it sad

Now, TTD is one that does not get enough praise....especially Symphony or Damn from 1993. That is total classic. He hits so many different styles....so many superbly written songs....it has Turn the Page which by itself, is just a masterpiece with that ever growing chorus....man. His singing on Frankie and Johnny...oh man, D'Angelo just can not do this. I even love the guy's self important vibe...who else would call a song, 'The Tension Inside the Sweetness'..????? The dude could back that sh** up.

...and, is Let Her Down Easy not one of the most beautiful songs? Any father that who has daughter they love can not help but tear up listening to that one smile
