I don't own one record by them, but as a band, The Eagles had an amazing depth of talent. But, that's just under "rock band". Big band? Boy band? Country band?

-Byrds (precursors to the Eagles) -Kinks -Sly and the Family Stone -Cream -Janis Joplin and the Holding Co. -Led Zep -Jimi Hendrix and the Experience -Beatles -Stones -Santana -The Who -Doors -Velvet Underground -The Ramones -Jefferson Airplane
