Help Identifying a Song I feel like this shouldn't be too hard but here goes (my Spotify attempt failed). It's a late 70s (even early 80s perhaps) song with rich vocals and harmonizing (female lead), esp on the "hook" which says "take all the time you need". Help! it was a feel good song from my youth that I need to reconnect with

You can try Second Hand Songs or Who Sampled to see if you can find the version you're looking for. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Not sure if it's the same song you are looking for but Phyllis Hyman remade "I Ain't Asking For Your Love" in 1981. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

it was Roy Ayers featuring a female vocalist from his Ubiquity album. MAN, what i wouldn't do for a Chaka Khan version of this!
