The Heaviest Funk in the World

Hello. Old PPML member here.

.

Back in the mists of time when music blogs were a thing, I did the Heaviest Funk in the World/ People Funny Singing blog with links to obscure and ridonculolusly heavy Minneapolis-influenced tracks.

.

It was more popular among the artists who actually made the tracks than the general public, but fuck it.

.

Anyway, I'm making a collaborative spotify playlist in the spirit of that old blog.

.

Here's the link. Come and add to it.

.

Spotify is pretty shit for obscure tunes and artists. You won't find Voyceboxing, Jak, 32 Phreeze or Cinema. But if you know something that stanks that should be on that list, just stick it on.

.

Don't bother adding Prince/ The Time tracks... I think we all know that shit! smile

Sorry for the full stops between the lines in the post above, but I could never get the formatting to work for line breaks on this forum, and I cannot be fucked to spend any time working out how to make it work. smile

All good tunes but we're talking obscure MPLS-influenced funk, not just bastard monsters like 'Holy Ghost' and school disco tunes by the fucking Jacksons, ha ha! Starting point is like 1985.
