Here are the 2 'FIRST-EVER NATIONAL(Nation-wide)' Music Video Programming TV Shows(Pre-NIGHT TRACKS/Pre-FRIDAY NIGHT VIDEOS/Pre-VIDEO SOUL/Pre-VIDEO VIBRATIONS etc...)! POPCLIPS was Conceived/Created of by Michael Nesmith(ex-MONKEES Member) that was Aired/Broadcasted on NICKELODEON in 1979/1980 & VIDEO CONCERT HALL was Created by Lloyd G. Crowe(Jerry Crowe) & Charles W. Henderson on USA Network/SHOWTIME in 1978/1979. Now POPCLIPS seemed to be a 'DIRECT Predecessor' of MTV for being National & being from WARNER-AMEX SATELLITE ENTERTAINMENT(Founded in 1977/which became MTV Networks as well as SIGHT ON SOUND Channel). And VCH which seemed to have Started Earlier had its Studios in Atlanta, Georgia! Can we ALL believe that?! Now did ANYBODY/ANYONE knew that Michael Nesmith was behind POPCLIPS & did ANY of us EVEN remembered that Show along with VCH? Again they were THE FIRST-EVER NATIONAL Shows to showcased REAL Music Videos in TV Airwaves! Does anyone in here 'Beg To Differ' if the 2 Are NOT?

Yeah, in the I Want My MTV oral history book Michael Nesemith is very vocal that he invented MTV, he should get all the credit, and it's not fair that more people aren't talking about his amazing Popclips tv show at all times.

WHAT A DAMN CRYING SHAME!!!! I mean These 2 NATIONAL Shows 'Laid The Foundation' for the MODERN Music Video Era/Movement in the US!!!! I mean just think about 'Laid The Foundation' for Other NATIONAL Music Video Shows/Channels in the Future: MTV/BET/VH-1 etc....!!!! VIDEO SOUL/VIDEO LP/VIDEO VIBRATIONS/NIGHT TRACKS/NIGHT FLIGHT/VIDEO MUSIC BOX/NY HOT TRACKS etc....!!!!
