Adele is more likely to embrace and celebrate a female singer than think she's been beat by one. There's room for everyone. If I were comparing the two, Adele has a better voice. That's not to say this girl doesn't. I just believe Adele's is stronger.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

definitely... Veroica Swift is far more visually compelling than Adele... and i feel like she's a more versatile singer than Adele while Adele probably does have the more powerful voice

It's not a legit comparison but there are reasons for this.

1) Veronica Swift is in a different catagory. Her specialty I believe is scatting.

2) The song is a jazz standard that Swift did in the style of Adele.

3) It sounds like something Adele might do if she were going for a more subtle approach.

4) A Veronica Swift titled thread would attract no eyeballs.

But the question was "move over Adele?" My answer is "nope."

Yeah I just wanted people to hear Swift, someone no one would listen to otherwise.
