woogiebear	Quincy Jones even TOLD Rick James that They "borrowed" the Bass Line of "Give It to Me Baby" (at least PART of it) for "Thriller"!!!!

I never heard the Barbara Acklin song but I do remember Soulful Strut. My mom
had that 45 when I was a kid. I wouldn't be surprised if she was a labelmate and they played on the record as they were musicians for Brunswick.
