Gap Band 6 left a little something out to be desired. I loved Video Junkie and
Disrespect and Beep A Freak. The rest was meh. The Gap Disrespect Outstanding
with that weak I Found My Baby replay. Most of the song seemed like Charlie scatting.

V had some heat on it and was OK overall but it was no III or IV. Most of the funk jams don't pack the same punch and the slow jams to ebb and flow like you're used to hearing from the Gap. They're fine songs but feel basic compared to what you're accustomed to from the group.

IV was also noteworthy for being the only R&B album in 1982 to go platinum. I wish I could find the source that stated that again...
