Interesting but again in terms of $$$ vinyl costs three times as much as a cd now, its not a units thing that is going through the roof its the DOLLARS, with these collector things coming out, also with RSD not being two days this year but being FOUR and so far despite the pandemic the fact the vinyl has been in much more supply and these RSD have been doing ALOT of sales online and stores have been supplied with more. Also CD's which are the last thing stocked in places like walmarts and targets etc... most of those places were closed or limited entry and people are buying more clorox wipes and purell then CDs, so its not tough to outsell a cd. When the new Prince Sign O the times sold more on vinyl then cd, the Vinyl is 250 dollars while the cd is 150, the new u2 collection the same type of thing, and new releases most vinyl is 24-34 dollars while a cd is 10. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Vinyl pays for itself (for the most part). You get far more value for the money you invest into an LP than a CD. Even back when CD's were the hottest media on the market, they never offered buyers what a vinyl record could. What they did offer was a cheaper price and greater convenience but that's water under the bridge these days.

You are just fascinated by a machine spinning vinyl producing sound. It takes you back to your youth. I remember watching a video on YouTube where a guy was showing his 2 daughters a small suitcase turntable playing records for them and I liked the expression on his daughters faces while they were fascinated and excited by the experience. They were even more excited when he told them that the turntable was theirs. Don't laugh at my funk
