Well it's obvious he has NO interest in saving the grammies. biggrin

I post these threads because the stench of last years show is so fresh to my senses.

If Kanye was nominated in gospel catagories he could save the show by bringing that choir on to perform.

Fiona Apple would bring prestige.

Brandy would pull in soul and nostalgia.

They like to shoehorn in Beyonce for nominations. If there's a hint that she could be nominated I'm sure she will, and yes she could save them as well.

Or honestly speaking there's no hope of saving them.

The Grammies and other award shows have been irrelevant for some time. Kids don’t watch them. They don’t care. Sure they’re happy that their favorite artists win, but does anyone sit down and watch that like they use to? No. Irrelevant.

Award shows now are a waste because of the situation with COVID doing these things with zoom for some and some from their backyard and some from a studio, I mean I get it is what it is but the awards shows, all of them were unbearable before but nothing is worse when someones zoom feed is horrible and their synch buffers etc...Just put everyone in a venue, bring in a small distanced MASKED audience some people are doing this already with live tv shows because you have too do something. As for a performance saving it or something like that, NO, the fact that a show would look for some sort of drama for ratings, on a LIVE show shows how shitty this whole industry is and has been

I thought the BET awards did a good job of shooting at multiple locations, but maybe it’s not the same with other shows

I have absolitely no interest in watching someone's zoom feeds--especially not television shows. mad
