Diana & The Supremes - Can't Shake It Loose
As many times I heard this song, I just recently realized its a George Clinton compisition.

Pat Lewis recorded this a couple years before Diane and the girls.

there may be others with more so-called vocal talents...but no woman's singing voice ever sounded as beautiful, and feminine, and sensual, as Diana Ross in her prime (1962-1968)...so much sex appeal in her youth, without really singing directly about sex...she wasnt even all that beautiful... but those eyes and that golden voice...and the cute & graceful way she moved her slender body...she was the Queen to me, no disrespect to Aretha

No compassions needed, both are amazing in their own right and unique and we all benefited from their different talents. Diane has a tear in her voice which makes it appealing to me

I remember reading years ago about George Clinton writing this song for them. I think Gary Shider got writing credit as well. I remember my mom playing this on the Love Child album when I was a kid. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint
