Couldn't agree more, it falls just flat. Theres no element of magic to it, the not so lives tream put me to sleep..

Who cares about the "official" video of this song cover. She does a great concert presentation of the song, her band kills, and she thoroughly slays on the guitar, always. So if u don't like still--ha.

I have always liked Lianne, but could only get into some of her songs, never really cared for listening to her albums (which were a bit overproduced).

I love her new album though. It seemed a bit 'same-ish' sounding on first listen, but after repeated listening the album has become a bit of an earworm. I think it is easily her best album, solid songwriting, very good production too. I like to play it in the mornings, when waking up with a good cappuccino. Her voice is so beautiful and soothing...

The lyrics also resonate with me, as I am in the middle of a breakup now. The whole album tells a sad story about lovers growing apart. I recommend playing this album a few times before writing it off as a 'boring' album. The songs need a bit of time to land, so to speak.


My favorite live performance of Lianne is her Tiny Desk performance from 2015, I thought this was a perfect gig and showcases her great talents as a singer and guitar player as well as the talents of her band members:

i cant get through an album of hers straight through...i have to SEE her perform...the combination of her intense beauty and her guitar skills and her aurra and presence, give life to the songs in a live setting... her Tiny Desk appearance is really good stuff
