Al Green five best album of his career.

What do you regard as the five best Al Green albums. To me the very best is Belle.

Great choices S2DG - I would have to agree with you. I love all of these albums and I would have to include Belle as well.

that's my go-to album as well. Even though some albums sound a bit same-ish, he hasn't really made a bad album at all (forget the 80's happened). Even the last couple are not bad, including the one with The Roots.

Next to impossible to make a top 5 that isn't a momentary list.

Yeah, I agree, I also immediately thought of Al Green hearing that song.

His 80's christian output is great as well, not as great as the 70's output but good nonetheless.
