I loved all of the singles. BUt did not connect with the album as a whole like I did with “Emotions”.

Emotions is a much better album, I love it, great album.

This was a fantastic debut album. I still can't believe she had a whole 4 #1s just from her first album. Vision of Love is one of the best debut songs ever IMO. This album is one of my favorite debuts from any artist.

"Cant Let Go" is my #2 favorite Mimi song right behind "The Wind".

What a beautiful song, it's very sad. And how underrated is, well more than underrated it's an unsung hero.

Yeah totally. They pulled the single last minute so more people would buy the album

But "Cant Let Go" still managed to peak at #2 on both the Billboard R&B and Top 100 Singles charts. And I believe it topped the AC Singles chart, which is nothing to balk at.

She should have made a gospel album back in the early 90's or a house album in the line of some of her remixes.

You would actually love her double disc called The Remixes. Disc One is her *best* house mixes which she always re-recorded her vocals for, and when she does a dance version on stage, it is these arrangements. Disc Two has her more famously played shit-hop mixes.
