This one is a very interesting record IMO. Two talented London cats who combine groovy funk/jazz/electronic inspired music with great musical chops (especially drummer Yussef Dayes) and beautiful layered analogue production. The album is mixed by Russell Elevado who is famous for D'Angelo's "Voodoo" album. Not every song is as great as the best ones on this album, but the good ones are great IMO. Recommanded! I love him on Kind Of Blue but when I tried two of his solo albums I couldn't get into it as much. Maybe I listened to the wrong albums, would you have any suggestions? RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

Thanks for posting! I saw Brownout live a few years ago and they were great--funky as hell. That was aound the time they did their fantastic Black Sabbath cover album. I'm looking forward to ckecking out their new one. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late n sum cuts from his Care Package comp. Highly underrated guy if you ask me (probably won't n that's ok 😂). Also various Stevie Wonder tracks for good measure 😀.
Edit to add: Was bumping whatever came on org radio however it appears to be out of commission 😣 [Edited 5/21/20 22:25pm] For all time I am with you, you are with me.
