Rosa Parks came on the radio the other day. Hadn't heard in years but, 20+ years later, I was still blown away by Andre's verse. Then again, there are a lotta Outkast joints where I can say that about Andre and/or Big Boi. | |

So no one likes Prototype? it's a great funk ballad much in the line of Be With You from Bootsy, another great one is Take Off Your Cool with Norah Jones. | |

Love it. I wouldn't call it a funk ballad but I know what you mean. Outkast was my group. The body of work was consistently great. A Tribe Called Quest probably had more impact but they slipped after Midnight Marauders-- ending on a great note though. Outkast was great from SouthernPlayalistic on through Speakerboxx/The Love Below. |
