Be weary of purchasing tickets to any shows at this point. Obviously shows of any kind are not happening, but some do still have shows listed more towards later summer to fall/winter dates, but still be weary of these shows for some are just waiting it out before cancelling. In some cases like what is going on with Paul McCartney in Italy people are not getting refunds they are getting re-scheduled. Alot of artists did this when they just swapped dates from 2020 to 2021 but some also pushed later in 2020. The thing to look out for is the ticket supplier asking you if you have a choice, because in some cases people want their cash back especially now. Some ticket companies are not even asking they are just shifting the dates, that is what has happened with Sir Paul in Italy. But in the future now ask before you buy, since there is going to be an ongoing worry of a spike in numbers, some places are opening, limiting seating, nashville i believe is doing some shows, vegas is looking to opening. But definitely look out for no options of refunds because of the virus, alot of artists and tours what to hold this money, especially the big tours in larger places which are going to be the last thing that will be allowed to happen. NPG actually have listed some shows for this fall/winter, including one here in NYC at Sony Hall but i dont see this happening because the venue though has tables it also has a dance floor that is General Admission too, so i think that might have to be re-looked at or they may eliminate the floor and just put in seating or tables. But all in all anything ticket wise you get now or maybe have gotten, make sure the option of refund is there because they literally could just be holidng your money for years. Not only am I weary...but I'll be wary, too. Fortunately, I got all my money refunded for rescheduled or cancelled shows except one because I bought the ticket at the box office. But I won't be buying any more any time soon. Ticketmaster was forced to change the refund policy to a limited 30 day option for rescheduled shows after public backlash. As it is, they and other ticket venders want to sit on the money as long as they can to reap as much interest as possible before refunding... Some are not offering it, which is why in some cases you will see them wait till the last minute before moving dates, the money lost this year is astronomical, not too mention just the employees at these venues large and small. The thing now is everyone wants to see who will be the first venue to attempt shows, how it goes, etc...
