This one is a very interesting record IMO. Two talented London cats who combine groovy funk/jazz/electronic inspired music with great musical chops (especially drummer Yussef Dayes) and beautiful layered analogue production. The album is mixed by Russell Elevado who is famous for D'Angelo's "Voodoo" album. Not every song is as great as the best ones on this album, but the good ones are great IMO. Recommanded!

Recently started getting into Bill Evans (all of it)...

Kind of mellow but it's his piano playing that is very calming for me right now...

Forgot to mention how much I've been digging the new Brownout album.

Here's a tiny desk concert featuring some of the new stuff...

I love him on Kind Of Blue but when I tried two of his solo albums I couldn't get into it as much. Maybe I listened to the wrong albums, would you have any suggestions?

I'm good, need to get back to making music. It's therapy that I'm NOT taking advantage of...

This album is really beautiful, thanks again.

I've been digging some of his live stuff from 70s but it's definitely a feel thing...I think I'm dialing into the calming aspect and not analyzing it, just noticing how it makes me feel.

This is the album that I really enjoyed;

https://www.youtube.com/w...EXMi49zvbw

This live album was another;

The other "new" album I can't listen to enough is the "Soft Touch of John Wright". John Wright only has a few albums and I'm not sure specifically what's happening here but I'm feeling it.

This is the John Wright album that got my attention;

You are welcome!

That amazing Sabbath album was when they came on the radar for me too, saw them at the Roxy in LA and they killed it. That show made me a fan for life and this album feels like they're coming into their own vibe.

In my humble opinion (lol) it's one of the best of the year as of May 19...

Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late n sum cuts from his Care Package comp. Highly underrated guy if you ask me (probably won't n that's ok 😂). Also various Stevie Wonder tracks for good measure 😀.

Edit to add: Was bumping whatever came on org radio however it appears to be out of commission 😣
