What do you think of Madonna's looks? Just wondering. | |

Love all her music, including madame x. She was a gorgeous woman, but has gone too far with the facelifts and filler that she doesn’t look like herself anymore. | |

very average...but when she was young, makeup made her face appear to be somewhat cute...her body/shape is and was always very plain, and non-descript...she was no beauty-queen at all | |

I think that she has messed up her face, just like many others who go too far with the facial procedures, and come out looking worse than better. I think she should have just let herself age naturally, she probably would have looked much better than she does now. | |

Like most things about her - she was smart and very calculating. She probably exploited the visual medium of MTV better than anyone. There's a collection of her different looks over the years in her Greatest Hits Volume 2 release - to me she's a bit like Prince in that she can be overposed - its quite unusual to see a natural relaxed photo of her. I'm surprised she didn't transfer her visual prominence over to a make up line or a fashion label - I mean Kylie Jenner puts out a lipkit and she's valued as a billionaire? Madonna coulda done that 10 times over. | |

The thing is she was never trying to be the most beautiful girl in the world or the best singer in the world. She was all about being provocative. I remember an interview where she said something like you can be the most beautiful girl in the world and just stay at home and file your nails all day - I'm more interested in pushing peoples buttons. | |

Madonna wouldn't have made it to pop star status unless she had some degree of beauty. ESPECIALLY in the 80s. She was attractive enough to sell posters. I wouldn't use the word gorgeous or stunning to describe her but she has enough of a general attractiveness to market things. Well...HAD, I should say. When I recently saw the video of her in the tub, I thought "Who's the Asian woman?" and I wasn't kidding. Without makeup, she is unrecognizable to me these days. I'm not saying that she's unattractive or anything. I'm just saying that she doesn't look like the Madonna I grew up on. For her age, she's in pretty decent shape if you're into that type. She fits a mold, I guess. | |
