Dua Lipa's new album "Future Nostalgia" is a fun pop/disco record!

Anyone listening to this album? It is very much a fun pop album with quite a bit of disco/funk/dance influences. Near the end it loses some steam, but all 'n' all a great effort and very nice sound/production. When you are into danceble pop music with some funky disco influences you should certainly give this album a try.

Highlights for me are: the fist 7 tracks plus Break My Heart.

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

I heard similar praise so I went to investigate and was not impressed at all.

Yeah, I like it. Seemed more coherent as an album than I remember her last one being, so I'm going to guess it was done a little less 'by committee'.

I really like her vibe. Although differences between her and Donna Summer. It just reminds of good dance music like Donna and a bit of Madonnas early stuff. I recently bought her deluxe of her first cd and it’s really good. I’ll wait for the deluxe on her new album.

Went in waiting to be disppointed instead pleasently surpirsed. Very solid album so much for her being a one hit wonder. Dont Start Now best song on the album

That's the best song of the album. It's a great album very enjoyable listening experience. My favorites are Don't Start Now, Physical, Future Nostalgia, Break My Heart, Boys Will BeBoys and Love Again.

Love it, have you listened to the L.A live version? it's even better and funkier.

Yes, it is fun dance pop album. The genre is not a favorite of mine, but I appreciate the album. With all the gloom and doom right now, it offers some enjoyable escapism. A few tracks remind me of early Gaga. I enjoyed her presence on the Voice this year as one of the extra coaches, as she seemed about as open and sincere as a celebrity can in that environment.

She seems like a very nice person.
