I saw this band a few years ago when they opened for George Clinton and Parliament/Funkadelic.I like their music and I need to explore their catalog.Do you know what’s the best place to start?

I'd highly recommend their 'Undercover Mixtape' from a couple years ago. It's a covers album they released through Colemine Records and really ranks as one of the best covers projects I've ever heard. I can't imagine it would disappoint...

I would say that in addition to what IM001 said, if you want a pretty much raw funk sound, then go with The Killion Floor or(and) Cali Fever. Killion Vaults is nice too. It's all instrumentals, with more modern influences. Orgone are pretty much a funk jam band, so that's basically their sound.

SoulAlive, U into the band Lettuce? To me Orgone are kinda like them. Lettuce though, are more out there. As in they take more chances with their sound. On top of being more Jazz influenced. Both bands are good though.
