Mile Davis - Live Evil Miles puts his horn through and Wah and brings in a new band for something the world had not heard before. Bringing jazz to funk with the amazing John McLaughlin on guitar...check out how the album opens...

Agharta. Especially the first track. Goddamn, it's some of the best music ever made. In my own TOP5 ever, definitely.
Obviously, "In A Silent Way" is brilliant. It's funny how people often describe it as "an ambient album", whereas they seem to think "Bitches Brew" is mostly cacophonic, jazz-fusion in its early stage, type of stuff. I think "In A Silent Way" could have easily been included on "Bitches Brew" as it is too. There's not "a world of a difference" between the two albums. If I had to make a choice between the two, I'd choose "In A Silent Way" out of the two anyway.
The 6CD version of "On The Corner" is absolutely amazing too. Maybe too much of the same stuff has been included over the 6CD's, but goddamn, what music...

I love all of his stuff..He's probably one of the few artists that I can say that about. "Panthalassa" is my go to Miles CD. When I don't feel like listening to all of his 70's studio work, that one does it for me.

Miles is one of my all time favorite artists! Loving his 70's period, lots of great music was made by Miles and his companions. Hard to name a favorite. On a sidenote, it was a shame Hendrix and Miles never got around to working together. RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

Yeah, I have the same thing, the thought of a collaboration between these two icons has always made me drool!
I am still working on music and I hope (and take it) that you still do as well. It was a great period back in the early 00's when we had that tight knit group of music enthousiasts here on the Artist forum.
If you'd like to hear what I have been up to since the 2funkE/Bumper days you can listen here:
