**DIRTY LOOPS** Don’t sleep on this - Musicianship is out of this world. I discovered this band in the summer and was blown away.
Wanted to share this with the org for anyone who hasn’t heard them Singer is like a mix between mj and Stevie but is individual Bassist is bad ass Drummer has crazy skills https://youtu.be/rV9uCmlMQ1c Next to you - Dirty Loops When I first heard this track I wasn’t sure for the first minute maybe and I am so glad I stuck with it. I would have loved a collab between these guys and prince. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. Do give the track the full 8 minutes. Their debut album is patchy - have to say I like maybe only 3 tracks on it but their newer output (next to you and work shit out) I think is sensational. Majorly looking forward to their new album. Please tell me if you like! Makes me so mad it took them 4 months to get a million views but the mumble rappers take all of 4 minutes. Ugh. Chops and skill. Amazing musicians. This bass player kills Giant Steps by John Coltrane. I've been a fan of his for a long time. Having said all the nice stuff, the song is pointless top 40 pop with good musicianship. I would rock this privately while trying to ignore the lyrics, but I'd be a little embarrassed being caught listening to it. | |

Pop vocals + every contemporary gospel song ever. But most people don't listen to much contemporary gospel, so I guess its impressive to some. They have talent. Not my cup of tea. | |
