ummm... sure.... Go back 30 years when her 1st (best album) dropped and you were shitting your diapers...that group is in the late 40s to early to mid 50s... the 90s she was untouchable...

uuhmmmm okay? You seemed perplexed as to the veracity or possibility of her fanbase hitting early 30s so I provided the mathematical justification. I don't seem how this retort of yours reacts or relates to anything... Truthfully her fanbase skews to all ages, initial reasons or first albums why are pretty irrelevant, fans dig into the entire catalogue, we're just talking entry-points.... the 90s were great, yes, I experienced them as well...

missing the point here brah... carry on.

I'm sorry but the woman is almost 50 years old. She should start dressing her age. Beyond that these outfits she wears are just not flattering at all. Not sure who her stylist is but she should hire somebody new.

Yep. She could look soooo glamorous but they style her like a teenager.

Remember her short reality show where we found out her Russian manager's 13 year old daughter was managing Mariah's Instagram account...with Maria exercising in in skimpy clothes and stilettos? Pushy brat was rummaging through Mariah's lingerie collection trying to school her on what was "hot" lol

Here's the thing, if this is from her run in Vegas, the whole bodysuit thing makes sense: it's a stage wardrobe staple. The problem, however, is that it's not flattering to her body at all. She needs to stick to her glamour gowns fir the stage, and leave the Lola Falana/Diana Ross bodysuits to Jennifer, Shania, Beyonce, and the other girls. Even Cher can still pull off a Bob Mackie bodysuit at 70 something, but that's because that body has been perfectly "preserved".

Still, I've already made peace with Mariah being Mariah, and Mariah is going to do what Mariah wants to do. So I pretty much expect her to dress like Mae West until she departs from this earth, even if its when she's 103. Mariah's going to be celebrating her 80th birthday for the global media in a sheer peignoir set with a glass of champagne in her hand. Watch.

Hopefully the Org will still be around in some form so we can all gather 'round, I'll say I told you so, and we can all shake our collective heads at her fashion foolery lol

I love old movies, mainly for the way the movie stars used to dress back then, so glamorous! They didn't need to show their body parts, and remained mostly covered, and still they were beautiful! I don't know why some celebs feel like they have to dress provocatively and half naked in order to be seen, because truthfully, most of the time they just look trashy not classy.

I actually don't mind body suits for the stage. When you you study dance or performing arts, leotards are standard issue. For the stage, I'm totally down with it because it takes me back to Broadway, classic Vegas, Bob Fosse or even the days of Cabaret. Unlike most entertainers, however, Ms. Mimi doesn't dance. Lola, Liza, Diana, Cher, and now all the other younger, contemporary girls could at least cut a rug in their leotards. Mariah? Meh. Which is why I wish she would stick to extravagant stage gowns. They make much for sense for the kind of show she puts on, and it keeps her from looking like she's trying too hard to be sexy. But good luck with that. Like I said before, Mama Mariah is on some Mae West/Mamie Van Doren vibe, and she's going to ride it until the wheels fall off.

In that sense I think celebs like Letoya are always classy. They dress well, stylish and glamourous but always in-keeping with the stage of life they are in. Y'all can look beauty without all the circus.

She looks stunning love.

That'll be a no for me, Sis. I've literally been in a room with personal clothing items from Latoya's closet and hand picked items a stylist (who subbed for Annie North when Annie worked for Celine D.)pulled straight from designer racks for her. I know she can do better than this. Black suede thigh high boots are one of her staple closet items. I don't mind them with a flirty little dress, but not this dress.

Funny, and oh so true! I can definitely picture Mariah at that age in my mind, just as you described. lol
