Diggin' the 90's production values, but the song itself, although a loving sisterly tribute, 4 me, is lacking punch. The metaphor (for June) or the lyrics don't really grab me much either. [Edited 2/19/20 21:30pm] Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up. | |

This is interesting. I saw Pointer Sisters a couple years ago and it was Ruth, her daughter and granddaughter. I read Ruth's book and it sounds like Bonnie was estranged for decades. |

One of my favorite Pointer Sisters tunes is Fairytale.
Used to listen to the country radio station for hours just to hear it. Bought the 45 I liked it so much and I didn't have a record player at that time. This was in 1974. [Edited 2/24/20 16:58pm] | |
