I remember the ET news report about overlapping the frames so he’s not as pale. Also at the time, Whitney Houston was sickly thin and they covered that up

Ive always thought MJ should have done an unplugged during this era. The songs from Invincible seemed ready made for that setting to accentuate his voice/grace with an aoustic setting.

That would have been perfect.Get rid of all the distractions and focus on the VOICE.Would have been a smart career move for him at that time.

I’m imagining whatever happens and cry as part of that, would have been so great, but for some reason he was performing older songs from dangerous during that time period

Would have been great to hear I can’t help it live, such an underrated song. Beyonce and Stevie wonder did performances of that song

For many people music occupies a particular space.
For some it’s a creative outlet, escapismb or a source of joy and innocence.

People keep saying seperate the person from the music, but every time Michael Jacksons music comes on now its a mood killer.
There is too much attached to his music now.
it’s uncomfortable, depressing and gives some people physical headaches when they hear it.

No. It's not. People still go off when they hear Michael at a club or any other public place. It's only losers that get headaches. And those got headaches already 27 years ago.

Maybe that’s because you or people around you have some sort of problem with yourselves. When I hear Michael on the radio or ply his music, I still get the same rush that I have ALWAYS gotten. I don’t know a single person who has said that his music is uncomfortable or depressing. Maybe you need to get some type of help to see what the REAL problem is. Some people like to blame Michael for their Own inherent issues and project those on MJ.

If some people can’t seperate the man and the music that is a valid reason.

For the longest time based on the evidence it was looking like Michael was innocent.
But it looks like now that is not the case.

Anyway, he’s gone now.
His music is forever tainted as a result and will never be the same again.

I was never a huge Michael Jackson fan to begin with but I use to enjoy some of his music.

We have an issue with paedophillia.
We also have an issue with those taking advantage of people less fortunate and exploiting them, this can also include adults being exploited.

Invincible has some amazing songs and Is seriously underrated. There are still people who are not aware of this album because of the bullshit pulled by Mottola/Sony and their sabotage.

I feel like people discovered it after his death too and it became album of the decade in 2009 on billboard. A few months ago my coworker was playing whatever happens on his playlist and I was happy to hear it

It’s definitely underrated and would have sold more if sony didn’t interfere. It also would have done well with a butterflies video and an acoustic set like already mentioned

Why? Because there is a stupid, onesided movie with 2 moneyhungry liars telling fairytales?? Nothing has changed.

The music is still the same. Still enjoyed the same as it always has been. People who feel "different" never cared about his music anyway.

You pretty much acknowledged that based on the EVIDENCE Michael was/is innocent. Then you went completely irrational and said something ignorant like it looks like now that is not the case. Are you and others really that naive and easily manipulated by two EXTORTIONISTS whose stories have more holes than Swiss Cheese. Even the most moronic and dumbest person in the world should be able to see through the bullshit in the fraudomentary. Seriously, the only logical conclusion is that you and others of your ilk truly WANTED kids to be molested for your own sick gratification. What these two extortionists spewed in the fraudomentary was pure child porn and pedophilic fantasies that turned a lot of sick and perverted people on.
Just as you stated there has NEVER been any evidence-only the lies of two broke men who want money and who have said for two decades that they were never abused.

Stop trying to turn your pedophilic dreams and fantasies into something that never happened. Your issues and problems will not be solved because you WANT something that never happened. Get psychological help!!

For me,it’s not a problem at all. When I listen to music,I don’t necessarily think about the personal life of the artist singing it.I think about the song and how it relates to ME and the enjoyment that I get from it.Artists are not “perfect” people and you shouldn’t expect them to be.

"Invincible" did a great job at trying to get Mj's rnb following back. Too bad Mj's bad mouthing Tommy Mottola made SOny cut the promotion budget to non existent.

Sony cut the budget before. Then Michael went on the bus and voiced his displeasure. Michael's protests were in June/July 2002. 8/9 months after the album was released.

It's a good rnb song I really can't listen to Mike for some reason. This is partly due to me thinking he's sexless and I can't connect.

Another turn off is the race issue, I know I am listening to a black man but in my head is the image of him as a white man. I sense no authencitiy. All of these make it difficult for me to enjoy his musicsadly, but I can't change it.

Plus, he isn't funky.

If you look at Prince he's oozing with authenticity and race. He always said he's funky and he's black. Now that's the kinda shit you want to hear. lol as opposed to a sexless man.

Anyway, I am not bashing Mike he's genius and he's respected too.

Lol! Tell that to Michael’s millions of female fans who have eargasms just listening to him sing songs like Heaven Can Wait, Butterflies, Lady In My Life, Break Of Dawn, etc. I will never forget when Butterflies was first played on radio that one of the female DJs actually said she felt as if she was having an orgasm, not eargasm, while listening to that song. Some of you people really don’t have a clue to how Michael affects his fans-male and female. MJs voice gives me goosebumps everytime I hear him, especially his slow jams. There is nothing like the feeling he gives me when I hear that glorious voice and see him perform. I always wonder if he knew just how sexy he was to his fans? Love that man today as much as I did over 40 years ago, even more. Nothing and no other artist even comes close to causing those emotions.

It was more to it than that. Sony was trying desperately to get Mj to sell his stake in the ATV catalog to them. Which affected his relationship with them on every level.

You hit the nail on the head. That was exactly what Mottola/Sony was trying to do. Not only were they try to get Michael to sell to them, they were trying to make him lose the catalogue where he would HAVE to sell to them. Thus, the reason that they allowed him to go over budget with recording, studio time, etc. The entire SABOTAGE of the Invincible album was planned and orchestrated with help from MSM to the so-called critics. Mottola was behind all of it. An ex-Sony executive revealed after Michael died that Mottola and Sony DID sabotage Invincible and Michael was correct in calling Mottola out. FTR, when Michael complained DIRECTLY to the Japanese head of Sony, they fired Mottola’s ass. I don’t care what lies and manipulations the MSM spewed, Mottola did NOT leave willingly. The media tried to cover his ass; however, WOKE people/MJ fans knew what happened and were never fooled by the bullshit that the media regurgitated in order to turn public and industry against Michael. MJ fans are aware of EVERYTHING.
