I highly recommend that people this artist out if they haven't heard him yet. He has a 1960s and 1970s R & B vibe but is way too artistic to be categorized as just a retro artist. His albums are real albums with songs that artistically cohere together, not just a collection of wanna be singles. His latest album, Kiwanuka, is my favorite so far. The whole thing is really good, and it gets better as it proceeds so don't give up on it if the first couple of songs don't strike you. The best songs from the album aren't on Youtube yet, so I have posted an earlier song that captures him well.
