NEW: The Weeknd - Blinding Lights I'm 50/50 on him. He's talented, but I don't connect w/ all of his music. I dig this one, though. I'm 50/50 as well. There's solid songs here and there but The Weeknd aesthetic itself feels like a sanitized version of The-Dream. "Bootleg Dream more like a nap" is probably the best way I've heard his sound described. |

Original puts me to sleep, I could never finish it. Modern day R&B collab Daft Punk just doesn't do it for me, they should have stuck to all vocoders. [Edited 1/23/20 13:58pm] |

It improved, sure, but this stuff still sounds more Euro electronic dance to me, which is really more their strength. |
