Who is Veronica? I was talking about Archie Bunker, who would make the same kind of comment you did.

Okay I'll play, then right back at you Edith, who would also make the same kind of "dingbat" comment you did. lol

I think I'd be Mike, Gloria, Lionel Jefferson, or Maude. It's interesting you'd pick Edith since that proves Iggy's comment.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

You're right, Edith proves Iggy's comment perfectly, because apparently he is as much of a dingbat as Archie said Edith was. lol

This is going to sound terrible but I'm a gonna say it anyway: I'd trade Madonna for Whitney any day.i wish Whitney was still here. sad Madonna I couldn't care less about. When I really turned off a Madonna for good is when she wore this to the Grammys:

2015. And yes I know She and Whitney are different artistically. They're still two of the biggest female artists of all time. I didn't care as much for Madonna because I felt often times she was just about being shocking and getting attention. It wasn't about great music, certainly not about great singing.

I prefer Madonna over Whitney. Whitney's style of music is not my cup of tea - never was really into R&B and slow ballads. To each their own. Madonna is a dance artist which really appeals to me. Funny enough, it was Ray Of Light that was the first Madonna album I danced to as a kid.

Right? Idk why people lump them together like they're the same thing. I couldn't imagine either singing either's songs post-1990 maybe some of the early bubblegum tunes.

On the contrary, I think some of her best work was released in the 00s era and superior to much of her 90s albums

I saw the Madame X Tour in London this weekend. I can confirm, categorically, that Madonna is not stuffy or boring.

I saw the Feb 8th show in London and it was the full show. I loved the whole thing, it really flowed well. I'd stayed away from major spoilers so didn't really know what to expect but it was such a unique experience being in a small theatre watching her. UK TV host Graham Norton was in the audience and they had a funny exchange at one point. The audience was really good too, incredible atmosphere.

I loved hearing 'Vogue' and 'Like A Prayer' but I really enjoyed the Madame X songs. She really brought them to life. She was warm, funny and very entertaining when she spoke to the audience. Also, her voice was amazing, probably the best I've ever heard it.

She didn't look like she was struggling to move but you could tell she'd reduced the choreography down to a more simple level to accomodate for her pain. My expectations were exceeded. I came away with zero complaints or disappointments. It was a truly wonderufl experience.

I've been a fan for 30 years now and have seen every tour since Drowned World in 2001. I'm so glad she's still moving forward and trying new things and not relying on her past or her hits. She's a true artist.

Its sh*t like that which makes me think that even in her early sixties she still has some growing up to do. Either that or she was "joking" and needs to come up with jokes that are actually funny.

I don’t think she was joking, I feel like she lacks insight these days on what people will tolerate or not, but I still play her music
