I really like both songs, but I have to go with "What a Feeling".
The song is so corny but so is the film... it works well as the theme song of the film.
What about you, which one do you like? [Edited 1/6/20 14:22pm]

I like Maniac because its uptempo, dramatic and its my fav song from the Flashdance Soundtrack (1983). What A Feeling is ok......it just a bit schmaltzy for my liking. Keep Calm & Listen To Prince

I made an early 80s playlist recently with "Flashdance ... What A Feeling" and it made me realize I like that song a lot more. The music is much smoother and I love how earnest the vocals are.

I love the bridge on "Maniac". I actually taught myself the chords to that song when my interest and talent in music theory literacy peaked.

Both are great songs. I have to go with Maniac though. I like the darker feeling of its music. Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

"What A Feeling", mainly because of the vocal performance. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

It's got more depth to my ears. The chords were not that complex but What A Feeling is very... major chord progression.
