Calling All MJ fans on the org

I am a major fan of MJ.I am just starting to get into his music a lot.Being that I wasn't alive in the 80's I missed out on his extended version and b sides...I own all of his official albums but I don't think any of them include b sides or extended versions on them.Prince has had some of his extended versions released on "Ultimate" and there's a whole disc devoted to his b sides on the "hits" set. What are the best MJ b sides and extended songs?

Check out B-side Shout, and look up the lyrics

Also you may want to add the ultimate collection box set to your collection, so you can have the unreleased songs and some remixes.

Pick up the three-disc version of the King of Pop compilation from 2008 and download the instrumentals from the Ultimate Fan Extras Collection on iTunes (if it's still there), and you'll have the perfect compilation of MJ extended versions and instrumentals right there.

Bad was an especially great era for extended versions, with Bad, The Way You Make Me Feel, Another Part of Me and Smooth Criminal all having ace longer edits. I think Leave Me Alone might've got one too, but I don't think it's been officially released on CD or digitally, unless someone can correct me on that one.

He wasn't a massive B-side artist, but there are still a few gems to find, like Shout on the Cry single, and the extended Come Together on the Remember The Time UK CD single (double check that latter one, as I'm just going by memory here).

I love those long versions from the bad album. An extended mix of leave me alone was posted online by fans but never got an official release

By extended come together, are you referring to the version from moonwalker?

I've not watched Moonwalker for years, so I'm not sure how well it matches the Moonwalker version. But it's a 5:28 version on one of the RTT singles (the HIStory version is 4:03).

Not sure how to post videos on here: https://www.youtube.com/w...ZrwtRZoNVM

It’s this version: https://www.amazon.co.uk/...amp;sr=8-3

There were different versions for different countries, so I’m not sure about the track listings of other versions. But as I’m a Brit, it’s the UK Deluxe Edition I have.

Will it play in US CD players? Or on my laptop?
Thanks for the link and recommendation

MJ s rééditions were really a fucked-up job from the start.
For such a major artist, they never released a disc from each album with edit/12'/ remixes. etc.
Not even for BAD 25.
.
The best b side ever is SHOUT, which was ironically released on his commercially/ artistically worst flop ever: CRY. The bridge is incredible.
.
It s sad Sony never gave a fuck about it, but they could have released on vinyl rare promo/singles such as Smile, Is it Scary, Butterflies, Speechless, Speed Demon, etc.
.
They could do great things for record day.
What a waste.

France was the best edition of KOP.
I read an interview at the time (2008) from Sony Music France, and they had a real knowledge of MJ' s career.
They tried really hard to get the clearance from rare things such as Rock With You with the handclaps.
.
But no Shout, no intro for IJCSLY, no Come Together long version, no YRMW or BTFLS remixes, etc.

There are some bootlegs on YouTube, too. My favourite ones include Can't Get Your Weight Off Me plus the one that was supposed to be the theme song for The Addams Family (forgot the name, lol).

Welcome to the MJ Fandom, a place where you ignore all signs who point to a man being a serial pedophile for some years until you finally open your eyes and realize that the music really isn't worth defending the indefensible. Good luck!
