I need some help by an Ike & Tina fan, please.

I'm trying to sort out Ike & Tina's discography, but it's a big mess with all those different contracts Ike signed with different record companies for a short period of time
(sometimes for a couple of singles).

There are hundreds of compilations with unreleased tracks, non album tracks and with wrong titles on them too.

On Tidal there's a compilation called "The Greatest Of Ike & Tina Vol.1"
and on the tracklist there's a song called (and mispelled) "Mississppi Rolli Stone", but it's not that "Mississippi Rolling Stone" song it should be.

Lyrics go something like...

I discovered "Golden Empire" a few years ago. It was always fun discovering "new" Ike & Tina songs for me. You are right about the complilations. They are endles! And many of them contain one or two songs that are hard to find elsewhere. Tina was amazing back then. Loved her gut-bucket Soul sangin' when she was with Ike. Sorry she ditched that style after "Private Dancer".

Agreed. Tina lost her grit after Private Dancer. Ike & Tina were early global ambassadors for soul. Tina was up there with James Brown, Wilson Pickett, and Otis Redding in the 60s and 70s. She had no female counterparts as far as high energy performing.

Ike & Tina have an amazing discography that's very deep, I'm always finding something new. You have to admire their hustle, constantly touring and recording. They have left a lifetime worths of music. Their Revue was fantastic too, from the Ikettes to the other early male vocalists. I'd love to see an in-depth documentary on the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, Ike deserves a solo one too. I know about his Unsung episode, but as an architect to rock and blues he needs something with more emphasis on his musical contributions.
