Feels Like Home - Basement Jaxx feat Me'Shell Ndegéocello

I love this song.

"Hold my hand while you sleep
So when you dream I'm there with you"

“It means finding the very human narrative of a man navigating between idealism and pragmatism, faith and politics, non- violence, the pitfalls of acclaim as the perils of rejection” - Lesley Hazleton on the first Muslim, the prophet.

Co-sign! What a dreamy lullaby, a nice precursor/companion to Comfort Woman.

.

I use Amazon Music for streaming, they credit Me'shell on Right Here's The Spot but not on Feels Like Home, which is unfortunate.

I wish she'd do a pure electronica album. I can't get YouTube videos to post, but check out "Close Your Eyes" and "Tonight" on Miguel Migs' Beyond The Skyline.

Agreed!

Also, check out 2 more Miguel Migs collaborations:

"What Do You Want" from Miguel Migs' ‘Dim Division’ (plus some cool remixes)

and

"Petite Mort (Miguel Migs Moody Downtown Remix)"

I love these songs. They could do a whole album together!

I love Le Petit Mort and the remix is groovy but its kinda awkward to reconcile disco dancing with "let me die a small death while u tell me the truth". My fave electro sounding Me'shell tune is the cover of Poison Ivy from the Batman & Robin Soundtrack, produced with Gamson & Goh Hotoda. That Switch (he later went on to produce Chaka's Hello Happiness) remix of Right Here's The Spot is golden too.
