I thought that Lipps Inc. was only Funkytown's band

It has an hypnotic and nostalgia mood as if it was a definitive goodbye to the Disco era.

SoulAlive

Their debut album,Mouth To Mouth,is a favorite of mine."Funkytown" was the big hit,but it was the tracks "All Night Dancin" and "Rock It" that really got me hooked.

Their 1981 remake of "How Long" is nice.Interestingly, after 1982,they got a new lead singer by the name of Margaret Cox....yes,the same Margaret Cox that later became a Jesse Johnson protege and then later worked with Prince ("Standing At The Altar")

Thank you and I've read that their guitarist was david Z, older brother of Bobby Z, I think I'm going to buy one their best-of or Mouth to Mouth on Discogs.

Their best-of CD is great. It contains one track ("Does Anybody Know Me?") that features Margaret on lead vocals.
