What's MAGA crap to you, may not be MAGA crap to others, Kanye included! The man and others can support whomever they want to, that's every American right to do so, whether you agree or disagree with it.

MAGA crap is MAGA crap, period.

What do you have against making America great, I assume you live here, and would want the country you live in to be the best it can be. I don't get people that enjoy the freedoms of this country, and live therein, yet seem to hate it! If some hate America so much, then why not go to one of the other countries and see if perhaps, you like it better, and let those that are desperately trying to come here, take your place! And you speak for no one but yourself, not for every one else! People have the right to choose and like whatever they want to, and also have the right to their own opinions, even if it opposite of yours. Thank you.

"Follow God" is NUMBER SEVEN ON THE BILLBOARD HOT 100. I can't name the last time I saw a gospel track hit the top ten. That is a blessed feat in itself. Usually as soon as an artist tries to go gospel it flops hard.

Okay but he isn't the first to change to devotional music and his recent proclamation of being the greatest artist God ever made makes me want to retract my praise.

I think he just wants to do tax-exempt shows to get some money back. I heard it was $1,000 to get into his Sunday ... service.

Nope. Tickets were free. Now, did scalpers scoop some up and sell them? Probably. But the service at Lakewood - like ALL services at Lakewood - was free. So was the concert later that night.

Yep.

I am no fan of Kanye West's music but he sure enough did not one but TWO sets for inmates at the Harris County Jail. He did a 45-minute set for about 400 male inmates, and then he did a 45-minute set for about 100 female inmates. And he brought along his 100-person choir, too.

The praise from the Harris County sheriff and other law enforcement personnel is impressive. My hat is off to Kanye West for this, and I look forward to listening to his gospel album.

Here's a great story on West's visit to the jail:

You should be able to watch both the 11:00 AM service/interview and the 7:00 PM service/concert on Lakewood's site, although they may not be posted for a couple more days (they aren't on there yet). Here is the link:

Strive

It feels like Kayne playing both sides of the fence.

He's serving an unrepresented portion of the market but it's always Kayne first and it's always to increase his bottom line. His ideas and God's ideas aren't compatible. The fact he's publically siding with the Joel Osteens of the world is proof of that.

Here's the service at which Kanye West spoke. His part starts at exactly 1 hour in:

It doesn't look like the evening service/concert is available.

I agree, nothing wrong with that at all! Our world and hearts have grown cold, bitter, and angry, and we could definitely use more love, kindness and compassion in it.

Agreed. My personal feelings are that he needs to stay on his meds. That way maybe we(the public) can start to differentiate between the mental illness talk and the arrogant, ego driven talk. I still applaud the man for his seemingly sincere religious conversion. It's just i don't like stupid talk. Like him going on about being the greatest artist ever. That mess was offensive.

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

I recently just saw Kanye live @ his #KanyeWestSundayService. it was truly inspirational. I can co-sign he is a changed saved man. Even though I never really personally had a problem with him.

I've never really had a problem with Kanye either, and if he has found God, and it's making a difference in his life, giving him joy and peace, then good for him, I'm happy for him, we should all be so blessed, because the world could use more of that, instead of all the chaos, hate, and evil that's going on today.

I had a conversation with Kanye before he lost his Mother. I was really impressed with him and his down to earth, honest nature he is really a cool, good dude. Losing his Mother really affected him greatly. But he's at peace now with it.
