Let's show some love for MADONNA

Sending love & light for a speedy recovery to the Queen of Pop as a knee injury has caused several show cancellations towards the end of her NYC residency.

.

I attended Madame X Tour a few weeks ago it was such a blast but she seemed to be struggling with the knee even at that time. Its a beautiful, unique show and I hope the world gets to experience it all.

.

https://nypost.com/2019/1...me-x-show/

.

From her Instagram:

Its Hard for Madame ❌ to admit that she is also a human being made of flesh and blood and she must rest for the next 3 days to insure full recovery for her knee.
I am not a quitter. This hurts me more than you can imagine. Its time to take those heels and fishnets off for a few days! 👠. Thank you for your understanding. ♥️. See you very soon !! #recovery #madamextheatre #nevergiveup #ongod

I had to... I live here, she was like a short train ride away! Last time around for Rebel Heart Tour I begged and tried to get friends to shell out the crazy ticket costs, this time I just quietly bought one for myself. I loved the entire show but tbh I was super concerned about her leg, you could tell she was in pain during certain parts of the show and specific dance moves. That was the night that she posted a picture of her with an ice pack on her leg after the show.

.

Rest easy, Madonna. I feel sad for the fans with insane plans traveling from city to city or from foreign countries, but at the end of the day if there can be no show without the star, which we all know so well.

You're 61 now Madonna, not 21, you can no longer do the things you did then.....take it easy.

Setlist was basically Madame X album minus Bitch I'm Loca and Looking For Mercy, maybe 1 or 2 others... a little bit of Papa Don't Preach, Like A Prayer, Vogue, Human Nature. Lather, rinse, repeat. I LOVE Batuka live with the Batukadeiras, my heart skipped several beats and I wished that part of the show had been longer. Fucking brilliant.

great example of an artist ... i admire - have her albums- but i really have no desire to see live ...

if she came to my local area - i may make an attempt but . generally . no desire . no bucket list item etc . cool

Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

That's a pretty neat setlist. Good to see her latest album so well represented, I think it's her best in a long while.

It was a great show! Also, Future and Crave are both remixed versions (unfortunately as I love the album version of Crave).

.

She is back on stage as of last night. Hoping her team takes proper measures to keep her in good health for the rest of her tour.

Showing love for Madonna!

Saw the Madame X Tour and had a great time (even with the 2+ hour delay). Frozen was a highlight! Really enjoyed her doing something different, and it gave me a greater appreciation of the album. I loved the remix of Crave! I wish it would be released.

Also wishing her health for the duration of the tour (and beyond, of course).

'Madam X' is a joy. Her best album since 'Ray of Light'. So artful. I did over pay for my edition though. Dammit.

ah ah ahhhhhh

Erotica Bedtime Stories and Confession = USA

Confession on the Dancefloor specifically she had divorced the Englishman and was living in NYC again. She talked about recording in a little studio on a NYC street and you could hear the city sounds even into the music.

Maybe they were separated, cause the divorce came shortly after the release of hard candy

Yeah they were seperated for a while. She was back in her NYC resident and then recording Confessions, which initially started out as music for a movie. She was really insired.

"When I wrote American Life, I was very agitated by what was going on in the world around me,...I was angry. I had a lot to get off my chest. I made a lot of political statements. But now, I feel that I just want to have fun; I want to dance; I want to feel buoyant. And I want to give other people the same feeling. There's a lot of madness in the world around us, and I want people to be happy."
