STEVIE WONDER surgery prognosis? outcome? health? I don't have to stress the significance of this man and his contributions to the world and culture and unity, but is anybody out there "in the know" about his recent? Eventual? Forthcoming? Surgery?
I don't want to ponder any negatives. Just inquiring because it's oddly not topical in the news. I just wonder if i should call in to KJLH or something and send messages of love and respect. The man is a blessing to folks who know, I just wish there were some way to make a day a "thank you Stevie" day [Edited 9/23/19 20:24pm] ♫"Trollin, Trolling! We could have fun just trollin'!"♫

It's probably not in the news because he's asked the press for privacy. I'm sure when there's anything to report, he'll let us know.

He underwent (or will undergo) a kidney transplant. If a live donor is used, the success rate is quite high. Rejection of the donor kidney is the biggest concern though the recipient (Stevie) will be given anti-rejection medication for a lifetime to suppress rejection. If the kidney fails (unlikely), he can always return to dialysis 3 x week or peritoneal dialysis at home.

Almost like all the aritsts of the 70s, the "real trailblazer", his impact is almost totally lost on the younger generations of today. It's quite sad. I hope for the best ...
