Bros Appreciation Thread

The other night I watched Bros: After the Screaming Stops (2018) a documentary about the rise, the fall and the reunion of Bros, who at one point in the late 80s was the biggest boy bands in the world. I found this to be touching, absurd and captivating at the same time. However, I know that the third member Craig Logan didn't want to take part in the reunion, but I wished they talked about him in this documentary, because out of the 3 members of the group he turned out to be the most successful business wise ( Where is Bros star Craig Logan now? https://www.smoothradio.c...-bros-now/ ) As a result I don't think you get the complete story of Bros without acknowledging his contributions. I give this a 3 out of 5 popcorn

Anyway this film gave me an idea for a new thread a Bros Appreciation Thread clapping because they did make some pretty catchy tunes nod and influenced my love for Doc Martens and rolled jeans at the bottom.

I didn't experience the Bros phenomenon. Did they have any hits in the US? I know one of them recorded a song with Denise Pearson of Five Star. And do recall Matt on Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show in the mid-00s promoting a solo project. I tried to get into them some time back. It didn't happen. I find it most interesting that certain short-lived acts from decades ago have these big revivals while others remain largely forgotten.

I don't think they ever cracked the US market....in the doc they said that Matt had a residency in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace in 2016 and now has one with The Mirage. BWW Feature: MATT GOSS LIVE AT THE MIRAGE at 1 OAK Nightclub At The Mirage https://www.broadwayworld...e-20190813
