Lana Del Rey's Norman Fucking Rockwell

This week I have been listening to Lana Del Rey's new album, Norman Fucking Rockwell. One thing I like about Llana Del Rey is that she is one of the few modern artists who actually make albums rather than a collection of singles. That is why I didn't post a video here, as there is no real single off the album even if she formally releases some. Now that I am streaming much of the time, I thought I would just pick some songs off the album as a playlist, but so far I much prefer listening to the entire album. I think it is her best by far since Ultraviolence.

Any other Lana Del Rey fans? If so, thoughts about Normal Fucking Rockwell?

i'm a fan. i haven't had time to digest her entire back catalogue but i've listened to all the
albums by now and know about 2/3 of the songs on them well enough to say i'm into her,
a lot. love her vocals and her style.

the new album is great. it's so low fi, organic, dreamy and singer-songwriter-ish, i love it.

I'm still on the fence tbh, however I always keep my ears open because she intrigues me. I absloutly love her duet with Bobby Womack on "Dayglo Reflection".

I like 'Doin' Time' but didn't get past track two on her album. Not my cup of tea, i'm afraid.

Yes, she definitely is not for everyone. Anyone that has such as distinct approach in music tends to be polarizing compared to someone who just sounds like everyone else. I apprecaite her uniqueness. With the outstanding reviews this album has gotten, it is likely to get some awards or at least nominations at the end of the year.

love the new album. it's such an ethereal experience. Love the soft psychedelic vibe. Venice bitch alone is worth the price of entry.

I guess this is one of the best albums released this year!
